Emmerdale brings the high emotions next week, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures, as dastardly Tom King (James Chase) returns to the eponymous village, hellbent on revenge.
It seems as though Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell), who won’t have a bad word said against Tom, has been in contact with the abuser following his disappearance last week.
Belle, who is worried sick about Amelia, finds herself distracted when she’s notified by landlord Kim Tate (Claire King) that Dale Head is in a state, urging her to come and take a look.
Belle is horrified when she spies a secret camera on the property, coming to the realisation that Tom has been watching her every move for weeks.
Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick), who has been a constant source of support for her over the past two weeks, encourages Belle to report the incident to the police. Belle contemplates doing so and, later, she’s pleased when Amelia gets in touch to talk about Tom.
But after arranging a meet at Wishing Well with Amelia, Belle is horrified when Tom shows up instead, with the abuser locking the doors and blocking her exit.
Will Belle be rescued by her loved ones before Tom can torment her any further? Or is Belle’s nightmare set to escalate dramatically?
Elsewhere in the village, Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) and Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) clash over the harvest festival but the tension between the two soon turns to passion as they share a kiss – before taking things to the bedroom!
Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker), meanwhile, encourages Jai (Chris Bisson) to tell Laurel how he feels and, taking her own advice, she decides to do the same with Charles, arriving at Woodbine.
