Gundam Maxwell

Playing around with the Maxwell. Went ahead and did it up like a Gundam, colors and all, and even gave it wings!

Based on the Maxwell [Gravis] That I have yet to upload due to laziness, which I'll probably do at some point today.

Gundam Maxwell's wings contain feather-type funnels called hexabits. Each feather generates a directional energy field. When stored in the wings they provide additional thrust and mobility. When deployed from the wings, they can group together to generate a defensive field to deflect incoming fire. They can also be used to enhance beam attacks in a similar fashion the Cherudim Gundam's shield bits. In desperation, they can be sent at a target as a remote-controlled high-speed missile, though this results in the loss of the hexabit. It has a total of 44 hexabits, 16 per wing, with an additional 6 per shoulder. The multi-purpose hexabits pretty much help enhance the Maxwell's offensive capabilities.

Armaments include:

- A pair of beam pistols. They draw power directly from the reactor and have an average fire output and rate. The attacks can be enhanced through the hexabits, so it doesn't really need a larger weapon for battle (Though attacks fired through the hexabits have a much slower rate of fire in exchange for a much higher output).

- A pair of large beam sabers. These are attached to the hips right under the beam pistols. They function in a way where emphasis is on a single edge with flat planes on either side, making them very effective at cutting, but not versatile like a typical beam saber. The hexabits can be used to increase the length and power of the blade temporarily for a short period of time.

- A pair of beam CIWS in the head. Simple and sweet, rapid-fire CIWS.

- A pair of double-barrel fire-linked beam guns in the arms. much like the beam pistols, output can be increased through the use of hexabits.

It's a multi-environment model but excels in space. It can operate in the atmosphere, including its hexabits, but atmospheric conditions and gravity can cause considerable strain on use, reducing their operational time before they need to return to the binders to recharge.
