Chapter 2
by ZavinedeGlasya
Who are you, applicant?
Jack Henderson and Tracy Sullivan are roommates
Jack was so excited to start college. He grew up rather poor, so stumbling on this Scholarship was a dream come true. He couldn't believe his luck when he was chosen out of all the applicants, he was picked. He accepted the scholarship without a second thought. It was a dream come true and his family couldn't be happier. With the education being fully paid for, he was hoping that he'd be able to get a decent job out of college and help his family out.
As Jack pulled into the college, it hit him that he was going to have to move in while it was pouring buckets outside. He had hoped that the weather was going to let up for the last hour of his journey, but it just wasn't meant to be. Jack didn't know where he needed to go, and the constant downpour wouldn't allow him to see any signs or anything.
Jack was stuck in a long line of cars trying to get on campus. Most of the time, people weren't moving, only occasionally moving forward one or two spots before stopping again. Of course, that was to be expected, as the entire student body was moving in today, with classes starting on Monday. Jack kept an eye out for signs that pointed him in the direction of Scholarship Hall. He was sure that he'd be able to get help with the exact room number once he arrived at the dorm, but finding the dorm could be trouble on its own. Luckily, as he was following the long lines, he was able to spot a sign that helped point him in the right direction.
Because of all the traffic, it took Jack a while to get to the building. The building was an older building, primarily built with bricks and stones. There were many glass windows, but as he got closer, he realized that all the windows were tinted, so he couldn't get a good look inside, even as he got closer. The number of windows he saw implied it was at least a four-story building. As he approached the building, he thought that the building was in the shape of an L. Eventually, Jack pulled up to the front of the dorm. The question he had to wrestle with was how long was he going to wait before he parked and started unloading. Ideally, he'd be as close to the door as possible, but that meant that he'd be waiting much longer.
As he waited, Jack's mind wandered back to the Scholarship that he was awarded. He still couldn't believe that he found a scholarship that covered tuition, room and board, books, and all other college expenses. He was blown away by how lucky he was. He was sure that the Scholarship couldn't be too bad. One or two boring Scholarship dinners and then he'd be done for the year.
As Jack pulled up to the dorm, he saw a girl outside the hall enthusiastically greeting the residents of the hall. He couldn't quite see her clearly from this far away, but he could make out that she was greeting everyone as they walked in from the pouring rain. She's probably an RA, Jack told himself. So he stayed in the car waiting to get closer to what appeared to be the only door that he could bring his stuff in. He was planning on waiting until he was right next to the door before he noticed something he hadn't noticed before. He had realized before that the shirt that she was wearing was completely soaked. Honestly, anyone could have probably told you that. What he didn't realize until he got closer was that she wasn't wearing a bra underneath. Her nipples were visible under the soaking wet shirt she had on. And weirdest of all, she didn't seem to care at all. Jack parked the car and got out wanting to talk with her. As he approached her, he mentally acknowledged that the girl was defiantly pretty, only to realize that he only thought that because he could see her tits and nipples extremely clearly.
Jack awkwardly walked up to the girl, "Uh hi? Is this the Scholarship Hall?" Jack hoped that talking with her wouldn't make his erection even more obvious than it already was.
"Yeah, it is! The show begins at seven this evening and I wanna go all night and well into the morning so be sure to donate!" Jack swore that the girl was shaking her breasts at him, with them visible through the baggy t-shirt that she was wearing.
"Uh? Donate?" Jack was still trying to figure out why this girl was out in the rain with her nipples poking through the shirt he had on.
"Yeah! Details are in your room. The listed link goes live at 7 this evening, and residents of this dorm have complete control over what happens. You can donate if you want to see something. Let us know whatever you want to see and we will do our best to make it happen!" Jack was trying to follow what she was saying, but it wasn't making any sense. It didn't help that his imagination was running wild.
"We?" Jack was suddenly paying to every word she said, hoping that she was talking about the two of them.
"Me and my male roommate!" Just as quick as his hopes shot through the sky, his hopes crashed back down to earth. Of course, she wasn't going to be having fun with a guy she just met. She probably knew the guy before coming to college.
Lucky guy. She really is pretty. His thoughts ran away from him again.
"Is there somewhere where I can find which room is mine? I don't think I was given a room number.” Jack asked, trying to steer the conversation away from his disappointment.
“Each year is assigned to a certain floor, with the freshman on the top floor and seniors on get ground floor. There's a list in the lobby that you can use to use to find which room you're in." the girl was visibly bouncing up and down, and so were her boobs.
Jack knew that he had started to stare, which was rude, regardless of how weirdly the girl was dressed. "Okay, I get it." Jack hurried inside trying to hide the fact that he was hard, just from talking with that girl. What is going on in this college?
Jack quickly walks back to his car and pops the trunk. He grabs an armful of stuff and hurriedly brings it inside. He finds a corner of the room to store the stuff while he is unloading his car, as he can't leave it outside in the rain. Once the car was unpacked and all of his belongings were inside, he got back in his car, now thoroughly soaked. Jack turns the car on and starts trying to find a parking spot. With how busy it is, Jack is not expecting any parking spots anywhere close to the dorm. He was just trying to find a spot. After he found a spot clear on the other side of the parking lot, he headed inside just to get out of the rain. That girl was still outside enthusiastically greeting everyone who was coming into the dorm. Jack hurried inside to avoid staring at the weird girl.
Jack was glad that he had decided to pull up to the curb and bring everything inside first. Most everything was still dry, although he was sure that everything would have been soaked if he had to carry everything from where he ended up having to park. He started looking around for the list but didn't see it immediately. He looked around the room and saw a bunch of large televisions, hidden from the view of the doorway. Then Jack remembered what the girl had said. He audible groaned as he realized he'd have to carry all of his stuff up the stairs. He grabbed a couple of bags and headed towards the stairs. Why in the hell were there four floors to this building?
When Jack got to the top floor, he was going to drop his bags and head downstairs, but he decided to take a look around first. There weren't as many people in this lounge, and most people seemed to already know where they needed to go. There was one girl who was looking at the list, almost confused. Jack didn't want to interrupt, so he took a look around the room for a bit. He saw similar television to the ones that he saw downstairs, but they were all out in the open. Jack internally debated whether he should head back downstairs to carry more stuff up, but he decided that he should figure out where his room was so that he didn't have to pick up his stuff any more than necessary.
"Uh, hi?" Jack said awkwardly.
"Hi! What's your name? My name is Natalie." Natalie turned away from the list of names on the wall. "Did you need to look at the list?"
"Hi Natalie, I'm Jack. And only if you're done looking at it. I can wait. Still need to bring stuff upstairs." Natalie held out her hand and Jack shook it.
"It's no bother, I'm trying to figure something out, it's confusing me." Natalie moved away from the list, motioning Jack to take a look.
"Anything I can do to help?" Jack moved closer to the sheet, really not wanting to be an inconvenience.
"Not really," Natalie sat down on a nearby couch. "I'm sure the problem will sort itself out eventually, but..." Natalie trailed off as she stared out the window into the sky. "I hope you have some extra cash for tonight. Tracy wants to play all night. It's been all she's been talking about."
"What?" Jack was very confused by the sudden change in topic. "Cash?"
"I saw the way you looked at her. The girl you were talking to outside, her name is Tracy. I saw you staring and how you reacted to seeing her." Natalie glanced down at the tent that persisted in Jack's pants, making sure he knew what she was talking about. "I'm sure you were imagining doing things to her. She's willing to do all that and much much more, assuming you have cash."
"Then, I'm out of luck. I'm broke." Jack slumped his shoulders, sitting down in the chair opposite Natalie.
"Then how did you end up in the most expensive dorm on campus, the dorm that has a waiting list so long that half of the students at this school want to be here? Do you know any other students that are starting here?" Natalie leaned forward intrigued by what Jack had been saying.
"No, I don't think so." Jack still didn't know what all these questions were about.
"Huh, interesting." Natalie just sat there contemplating. It almost made Jack nervous. However, it seemed like the conversation was over, so Jack turned to the list and searched for his name.
Henderson, Jack - Floor 4 - Suite FR.
That's weird. Jack thought to himself. Most of the rooms are numbered. Why did I get a lettered suite?
Jack turned down the long hallway to try and find Suite FR. He walked up and down the whole hall, trying to find Suite FR. He walked up and down the hall three different times, but he didn't find a Suite FR. This left him even more confused. By the time that he walked back into the lobby, Natalie had gone, although Jack didn't know where. He looked around for any clue about where his dorm could be, and eventually, he found Suite FR-E. Across the lobby, he found a similarly named FR-W. He was revealed when he finally found Suite FR. Jack put his hand on the handle and took a breath, hoping that the room would be one pillar of normality in the chaotic day that it had been thus far.
As he opened the door, the first thing that hit him was the heat. Someone had cranked the heat in the room, and he could feel the heat coming out of the door he opened. He dropped what he was carrying near the door as he searched the room for a way to turn down the heat. After turning down the temperature, he looked around the room and everything seemed normal enough, at least at first glance. There was a bed, desks with chairs, and a lamp for studying at night. There were also a couple of bookshelves available. The first thing that he noticed was out of place was that there weren't any closets anywhere to store his clothing. He kept looking around, trying to find what Tracy had mentioned. Some sort of link? But despite all his efforts, he couldn't find any link or anything explaining to him what Tracy was talking about outside. It’s a problem for later, Jack supposed. Jack decided he needed to start getting all his stuff up the stairs.
It took Jack a couple of trips up and down the three flights of stairs before he was able to get everything inside the dorm. On the last of these trips, he was carrying a couple of dress shirts as well as numerous T-shirts. As he finished climbing the stairs, he saw Natalie coming out of Suite FR - W.
"Natalie? Do you know where the closets are? I think they forgot to put a closet in my room."
Instead of responding, Natalie hurried down the stairs. He didn't know where exactly she was going, but it wasn't his problem he supposed. He had just finished carrying all of his luggage up the stairs and he was well past exhausted. Well, this was his room, so he decided that he was going to take a well-deserved nap.
Where did Natalie go?
